Kwara United: 2025 Federation Cup Final, Just A Week To Go

This time next Saturday, all roads will lead to Lagos and straight to Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan for the much-talked-about and much-publicized President Federation Cup final clash between our darling Kwara United and Abakaliki FC.
Fans and supporters of Kwara United will be expected to line the different routes to Lagos while those who, for one reason or the other, will not be able to make it, will be deep in prayers for the resounding victory of the Afonja warriors.
Having received maximum financial and moral support from our sports-loving Governor, His Excellency, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq CON, backed by blessings from our highly revered Royal Father, the Emir of Ilorin, plus the constant and fervent prayers by all Kwarans and indeed friends of Kwara, Kwara United players and their handlers absolutely have nothing to fear.
A cursory look at all the parameters of success, the pendulum weighs heavily in favor of Kwara United. The players’ determination is unquestionable, the management’s commitment is undeniable, the quest for victory is unassailable, their confidence is unshakable, their hunger for the trophy is unmatchable while their patriotism to both club and state is unmistakable.
Theirs is a burning passion, desire, and enthusiasm to be part of and also play a prominent role in the magic moment that will bring honor and glory to Kwara State.
To cap it all, their early arrival in Lagos is indicative of the level of seriousness the club management attaches to the great task ahead. As for we their fans and supporters who will “invade” the MJ Arena and those who will remain at home, we owe it a patriotic duty to seek divine intervention for and on behalf of our gallant warriors.
Apart from their hard work on match day, they can only succeed through the unfailing goodness of God and His divine blessings in their lives. Next week Saturday is a day of history, a day of dream fulfillment, and a day which, by the special grace of God, songs of joy will reverberate in all the sixteen Local Government Areas of Kwara State.
Let’s keep up the tempo, increase the momentum, and raise our voices in prayers for Kwara United to emerge victorious, thus paving the way for celebration galore in all the four corners of Kwara State and even beyond.
