South Sudan suspends coach, Dupuis after 5:0 defeat to Senegal, post March comment
South Sudan Football Federation has suspended head coach Nicholas Dupuis for 15 days following a statement he made during a post-match briefing after their 5-0 defeat to Senegal.
The coach said: “The results of today are normal given the level of our team, because Senegal is one of the two best teams in Africa. They even won against England last month. So it’s normal.”
The federation said he breached his contractual obligations and violated Article N (3) of the professional coach’s contract.
