The Local Rebuilder Hon Shopware Ayaware on it Again, as he begins his fourth football edition

The 6-a-side knockout football tournament envisioned by Hon Shopware B. Ayaware, which takes place every year at Ayamasa Community Secondary in Ekeremo Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, holds its 4th edition.

It was a colorful and remarkable event with the two starting teams, AJAX 2 FC and RANGERS BOYS FC.

The kickoff was marked by the Educational Secretary of Ekeremo Local Government Area, Mr. Tamaraupreotubo Smith, who interacted with newsmen at the event. He gave vivid remarks on the inside of the program, saying that this would bring unity among people in society, educate the youths about football and other educational matters, and handpick the talented ones for bigger football teams. The Educational Secretary, Mr. Smith, also added that he uses this medium to thank the vision bearer, Hon Shopware Ebikabowie Ayaware, for having this vision to bring local talent to the football world, benefiting many, and called on the government to support the program.

Hon Shopware Ebikabowie Ayaware, the vision bearer, while addressing journalists on the pitch, said he is very delighted to give back to the society from which he hails. He stated that society makes us who we are and that it is not good not to give back to society

Hon Shopware B. Ayaware also stressed that the event has brought many local talents to bigger football teams; at the last tournament, one of the goalkeepers is now playing for one of the big football teams in Kaduna. Hon Shopware also said the venture is not only about sports but also education, supporting the needy in motherless baby homes by giving to them, he added.

Additionally, one of the remarkable personalities at the event, Mr. Zipamone Akpanaka, spoke who spoke extensively with newsmen, saying the tournament is highly motivating local talents in terms of football players. He noted that the tournament is not only for the Ayamasa Community but also for neighboring villages in the constituency one of Ekeremo Local Government Area, which have been registered as well. Mr. Zipamone also notes that the tournament has brought unity to the above-mentioned 12 to 13 communities in constituency, and youths have been benefiting from this 6-a-side knockout football tournament envisioned by Hon Shopware Ebikabowie Ayaware. “He used this medium to call on spirited individuals and the government to support the program, which serves as a means to stop social vices in society.

As the event became more interesting, serving youth corper in the community, Mr. Joe Amechi, shared his insights about the event. He said he has been hearing about Hon Shopware B. Ayaware on many occasions in terms of helping hands, giving back to society in various ways—educational, sports, and other areas. According to the youth corper, Mr. Joe Amechi, this is the first time he is experiencing the 6-a-side football tournament envisioned by Hon Shopware B. Ayaware, aimed at bringing local talents to the football world. He expressed his trust in Hon Shopware, believing he will continue to give back to society as he has done in other areas, and called on the government for support to help the youths benefit more.”
