Former African Footballer of the Year and President of Cameroon Football, FECAFOOT Mr. Samuel Etoo Fills punched his hands into the air in a manner Christians give glory to Jehovah God when Ref Peter Waworu of Kenya blew the final whistle signaling a 2-1 win over South Africa in Rabat Morocco in the Round of 16 games.

World Cup bound South Africa bound to a team that was quickly put together for AFCON as Junior Tchamadeu got a ricochet from a South African defender and just tipped it into goal in the 34th minute.

Christian Kofane rose higher than all to nod in to goal a lob from Nagida Mahamadou for Cameroon’s second goal in the 47th minute.

Bafana Bafana that played fluid football in the first half turned to a panicky team from 7th minute of play and in one of their struggles South Africa got a consolation goal in the 88th minute when Aubrey Modiba got Evidence Makgopa who scored and they wrestled the ball from the net only to find out time has run out on them. As the South Africans bowed their heads on the field of play, Cameroon popped up the bottles of wine shouting and celebrating a wonderful victory.

But then even if South Africa had won, Aubrey Modiba would have missed the next match as he got a vital Yellow in the 60th minute meaning that Modiba will miss the next CAF organized match involving South Africa.
