2027: Prof. Tonukari Commends Akpowowo, Erhimedafe as they get APC Assembly Tickets
Delta State Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Nyerhovwo Tonukari, has congratulated Olorogun Barr. Arthur Akpowowo and Hon. Felix Ejovwoke Erhimedafe on their emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the 2027 Delta State House of Assembly elections.
Akpowowo secured the APC ticket to contest the Ethiope East State Constituency seat, while Erhimedafe emerged as the party’s candidate for Abraka State Constituency.
In a statement on Monday, Tonukari described their victories as a reflection of their grassroots acceptance, commitment to public service and demonstrated leadership qualities.
He urged APC members, leaders and stakeholders across the two constituencies to close ranks and work collectively for the success of the candidates in the 2027 general elections.
According to him, the emergence of Akpowowo and Erhimedafe offers the people of Ethiope East and Abraka an opportunity to elect representatives capable of providing effective legislation and advancing development in their constituencies.
The commissioner wished both candidates success in the general election and called on voters in the constituencies to support the APC at the polls.
