Insecurity: Nigerian Army Troops Neutralise Several Terrorists In North Western Region

The Nigerian Army says its troops have in a series of coordinated operations, raided terrorists’ enclaves in Katsina and Zamfara States, resulting in the elimination of a significant number of terrorists in the North Western Region of Nigeria.

A post on the Nigerian Army’s official ‘X’ handle (formally Twitter), on Monday, said the operations were conducted on March 29 and March 30, 2024.

It said the troops had in an operation conducted in Zamfara on March 29, successfully raided the den of a notorious terrorists’ kingpin, Hassan Yantagwaye, in Tsafe Local Government Area.

It added that Yantagwaye and his group had been responsible for kidnappings and acts of terrorism in some parts of North West Nigeria.

“During the operation, troops overpowered the terrorists in an ensuing gun battle, neutralising three of them and recovering a large cache of arms and ammunition and also destroying the terrorists’ camps.

“In Katsina State, the gallant troops on March 30, engaged in a fierce gun battle with terrorists in Shawu Kuka, Shinda, Tafki, Gidan Surajo, and Citakushi in Kabai I and Kabai II within Faskari Local Government Area.

“The troops neutralised eight terrorists and recovered three locally fabricated guns, military uniforms and a large quantity of stolen grains,” it said.

It also said the troops conducting night patrols on March 31, encountered armed Effium militias along Urban Effium in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi.

It added that the troops overpowered the militias in combat engagement that followed and captured one of the militias.

According to the post, the troops also recovered one AK – 47 Rifle and 11 rounds of 7.62mm Special Ammunition.

“The suspect is currently undergoing preliminary investigation,” it added. (NAN).

COCOSA mourns passage of former School Principal, Pa. Isume @92

College of Commerce Warri Old Students Association, COCOSA Worldwide mourns passage of its former Principal, Pa. Chief Samuel Ukoro Isume who passed on at the age of 92 on Friday March 22, 2024.

Pa. Isume was principal College of Commerce, Warri from 1967 – 1973, he transited peacefully at his home town Obiaruku, Ukwuani Local Government Area, Delta State.

President College of Commerce Old Students Association, Worldwide, Comrade Victor Enijuni in a statement made available to newsmen through the Association’s Public Relations Officer, PRO, Celestine Ukah on behalf of the Old Students described the former College Principal as a wonderful personality and gentleman who had pierced through the hearts of his students during his time as principal of College of Commerce, Warri.

President Enijuni noted that some years ago students gathered at Chief Isume’s home to attend his birthday party at Obiaruku and that his students came in from all over the world including from UK, USA, Lagos, Asaba and Warri to grace the Flamboyant Occasion duly hosted by the then students.

He commiserated with the Isume’s family and assured them of COCOSA standing behind them, According to the COCOSA President “I believe strongly that once again his students he thought then, they will rally round to give him a befitting burial Ceremony as they have continued to celebrate him when he was alive, just like COCOSA did to Late Chief Agbi Ikpen of Ovwian Community who left our School in 1949.”

He prayed thus: “May we all live to a full old age with lots of beautiful and resounding memories to behold and May his gentle soul and the souls of all the Faithful departed rest in Perfect Peace”.

HAJJ 2024: Fubara’s financial assistance to intending pilgrims speaks volume of his religious tolerance, Says Hajiya Zainab

**Commends Rivers Gov. for clearing off 1.9m Increment Hajj Fare for Muslims Ummah

The Federal Commissioner representing South-South at the National Hajj Commission Hajiya Musa Zainab has applauded Governor Siminalayi Fubara for subsidizing additional payments for intending pilgrims from Rivers State.

According to Hajia Musa Zainab , Governor Fubara’s financial assistance to intending pilgrims speaks volume of his religious tolerance among different religions in the state.

It would be recall that about 50,000 intending pilgrims that have paid the initial fare of N4.9 million were asked to pay additional N1.9 million. The upward review of Hajj 2024 fare was however necessitated by the new Exchange rate as against N897:00 to a Dollar that was originally benchmarked.

Due to the economy realities, sourcing for money to pay additional N1.9 million became impossible for the intending pilgrims across the country. Realizing the importance of the holy pilgrimage to the Muslims, His Excellency, Governor Fubara stepped in to provide financial succour for Rivers State intending pilgrims.

Commenting further on this development, the NAHCON Commissioner urges other states in the zone such as Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta and Edo, governors to emulate the kind gesture of the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara. Citing that such well-intentioned financial assistance rendered by the Governor to the intending pilgrims speaks volumes of his religious tolerance and love among the various faith in the state and country.

Speaking further, the South-South Commissioner said that she is well briefed that the Rivers State Governor has been carrying the Muslim Ummah in Rivers State along since the inception of his administration, She noted that amongst many kind gestures, Governor Fubara supports mosques with donations and food provisions for fasting Muslims in the ongoing Ramadan.

He disclosed that the Prophetic Academy will commence May 7th to10th this year and those who are qualified to attend are born again Christians, businessmen and the general public.

Billionaire Prophet Fufeyin who backed up his explanations with Daniel 5:25 of the holy bible said, “Daniel was called as a prophet to interpret the handwriting of God Almighty.

On the misinterpretation of a recent prophecy he made concerning a girl in viral video, Prophet Fufeyin said,”Those things are things of the Spirit.”

He pointed out that people of the world also misinterpreted the word of Jesus Christ in his days on earth because they weren’t in the Spirit.

Prophet Fufeyin also known as Papa J, pointed out that a misinterpretation of his prophecy concerning a young girl is ongoing right now.

According to him,”I heard it. I was in Kenya when I was going to South Sudan for a crusade and the news came to me that I misinterpreted something. I said what’s going on?

Prophet Fufeyin denied misinterpreting any prophecy saying,”I never, ever misinterpreted any colours because it’s not today I started it . It’s because the people don’t understand.

He said on the viral video which is currently trending on social media platforms, they claimed he touched a blue worn by a young girl and began to interpret.

Prophet Fufeyin said it is not only the young girl he prophesied to pointing out that he threw his handkerchief for people to understand the things from number 1-12 persons. “All of them came outside and I began to touch their colours and talk about it and the person will confirm it that it is so.”

Concerning the story about the young girl, Billionaire Prophet Fufeyin said,”I have been teaching all of them that very day. More than 10 persons I have interpreted their colours and they confirm it.

“I don’t know why editors just go and begin to edit what’s not true. So, I thank God whatever thing that’s going on in the prophetic. Nobody can stop the prophetic.”

He said not only that his colours were misinterpreted but the prophecies he gave concerning a certain man five years ago was also misinterpreted by social media handlers/influencers.

“They just go and and cut and edit the way they like it and post it to the social media and people begin to say is this thing like this?”

Prophet Fufeyin queried,”why don’t you start the beginning of the story? Start from the story and let people know what’s going on. I told them, show the whole story that’s what I prophesied in that family.”

The advise I have for social media handlers and influencers,”it’s not good. It’s dangerous for them to blackmail people. It’s not good.

“Anybody that did this thing (post) that story about that young girl, let them start from the beginning of the story. It’s all about prophetic training because it is called prophetic Academy, the training that is coming up.”

The global Billionaire Prophet Fufeyin who expressed dismay at the misinterpretation of his colours and prophecies said,”Am the one who told the people to zoom. I am the one who published it. They’re twisting the story the way they like” Papa J concluded..
