Abeokuta: Nextgen Elite U-19 Football League Set to Kick-off November as Best Talent, 11 Others Engage in Fierce Hostilities

A new private Football league, known as Nexten Elite Championship is set to debut in Nigeria at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The league is structured on the full fledge of 4 months and it sets to kick off November, with 12 teams pioneering the project.
The league aims to identify and nurture young footballers with high potential, helping them become valuable assets in the global football market.
Baring any last minute hitch, the league will be unveiled at Sports Arena, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State, with a press conference to announce the birth of the privately owned professional football league in the country.
Having received the boost of the NORDENSA, Afriskult as part of its partners, findings also revealed that a pool of private football heavyweights in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo state are said to be involved as Best Talent Football Club has been carefully selected.
Already, those who have been working from behind the scene to midwife the venture are understood to have sealed Livestreaming right deal which will ensure that the matches are beamed live on the tubes to the sitting homes of the football loving World. The league has secured deal with Afriskaut, Eyeball and Isports Analysis
It was also learnt that even though all the participating clubs will be affiliated to the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, just as the matches will also be officiated by the NFF accredited referees.
One of the major requirements for participation in the Private Clubs League, the insider told us, was that all the clubs must be privately owned and structured to operate like business.
According to a statement released by the organizers:
“Our goal is to create a consistent, reliable platform that connects our young Nigerians talents with Africa, Europe, Asia & South America scouts, clubs, and academies throughout the league season”
“All team participating in the league will have access to a high-potential livestream coverage from each game play to allow our partners clubs and scouts to watch and identify the best talents from each game
“The league will run over a season from November 2025 to March, 2026 and we are partnering with over 15 Top Clubs, Scouting Agency companies across the European union, Africa and American such as Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Austria, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, South Africa, Tanzania, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil,etc.”
