ADC Chieftain, Edojah Assures Party’s Presidential Candidate will Emerge from South

By Odeya Ogbetuo

A stalwart of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Hon. Solomon Edojah has assured Nigerians that the party would produce its presidential candidate from Southern Nigeria.

Hon. Edojah gave this assurance while hosting stakeholders of the party across the State at Kokori town in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.

When asked about Alhaji Atiku Abubakar presidential ambition, Chief Edojah told newsmen that Atiku is a very strong pillar of ADC, but the party mechanism will produce the presidential candidate from the South, stressing that there is no rancour or disunity in the party as speculated by mischief makers, just to discredit the party.

Hon. Edojah stated that the party remains formidable to win the presidential and some state governors including legislators across the federation in the 2027 general elections.

Chief Edojah said ADC is waxing stronger on a daily basis and unstoppable, adding that the party structures are being harmonized and strengthened to win both at the federal and in Delta State.

According to him, “We have a political stronghold in Nigeria but our presidential candidate will emerge from the South. We are united as a party with a strong leadership structure ready to win during the 2027 general elections. We will organize a credible and peaceful congress of the party towards producing true candidates for various elective positions across Nigeria.”

He urged Deltans and other Nigerians to massively register in ADC and become members of the party and vote credible leaders into the government of Nigeria.

“Let us get it right from the beginning and put the party on a sound footing to be able to compete favourably with other political parties in Nigeria.”

Hon. Edojah, a former member of House of Representatives said politics is about the people and the good of the common man and not a business.
“Politics is about the people. Politics is about the good of the common man. Politics is not an industry where you work and get paid. Politics is where you make sacrifice and your name will be heard and generations after you will know that once upon a time, there was a man known as Solomon Edojah who believe in ideal politics “

He urged members of ADC to work hard and contribute their quota to the growth of the party to win political positions at all levels.

“We must make sure you are compensated in ADC. We are laying a good foundation and all that participated will be compensated when we secured victory, either through appointment or other forms of empowerment.”
