All Is Set For The Bayelsa State Youth Basketball Clinic For Boys And Girls
The Patriots Basketball Academy in Conjunction with The Bayelsa State Basketball Association is set for a 3-day Basketball clinic for young school children with the aim of teaching them the basics of the game.
The lecture which is slated for Tuesday 25th to Thursday 27th of November at the Indoor Hall of the Samson Siasia Stadium titled “LET’S FOCUS ON THE ROOT NOT ON THE GRASS” is free for everyone interested.
Founder of the Patriots Basketball Academy, Coach Tony Torunarigha Nelson is calling on Parents, Guardians, Schools to allow their Children, Wards and Students to partake in this life changing opportunity for the young kids.
Coach Torunarigha who doubles as the Head Coach of the Bayelsa State Basketball team is calling on Partnership and Sponsorship for the event in order to have a more befitting program for the children.
“We want Parents, Guardians, Schools to allow their Children, Wards and Students to partake in this life changing opportunity where they can combine Sports with education”.
“With programs like this were we teach these Children the basics of Basketball, we believe that they can combine Sports and education to better their careers in future” he added.
The Patriots Basketball Academy has produced 8-time Nestle Milo Secondary School National Champions, Bronze Medalist at The FIBA Under 15 Africa Basketball Championship in Cape Verde 2019, and Multiple National Youth games , Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalists,
Other honours include
Nigeria Oil and Gas Games, Gold Medalists with (NCDMB), World Silver Medalists, World School Olympics in Bahrain and various National Sports Festival Medalists.
