Bayelsa: Assembly Screens Education Development Trust Fund Members

The Bayelsa State House of Assembly has screened nominees for the Bayelsa State Education Development Trust Fund today, Friday, October 10.
After the State Assembly screened the members of the committee, the Chairman of the House Committee on Education, Hon. Daniel Charles, Member Representing Brass Constituency 2, spoke with journalists in his office, pointing out the importance of the Board, noting that it’s their responsibility to manage state-owned boarding schools which are situated in the 8 LGAs across Bayelsa State.
He also used the medium to call on the Executive Governor of the State, Sen. Douye Diri, for his fast developmental strides to make sure that the rural areas benefit from the evidence of democracy, which includes access to good roads, electricity, and good piped-borne water.
While speaking with journalists after the screening by the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, the Chairman of the Board, Chief Fidelis Agbiki, said he’s very delighted to be appointed as the Chairman of the Board.
