The Coordinator of the Group, Comrade Engr. Harrison Itulua and Secretary Comrade Dudun O. Patrick in their open commendation to Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo lauded the security company for coming to the rescue of the people in the region especially in cooperates social responsibilities, empowering the people through security engagement and increase in the country’s oil production.

According to the open commendation to TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited by the ENVIRONMENTAL AMBASSADOR OF NIGERIA (ENAN) based in Warri, State as signed by the Coordinator, Comrade Engr. Harrison Itulua, Comrade Dudun O. Patrick, Secretary respectively state inter alia:

“In the winding creeks and oil-rich communities of the Niger Delta, one name now symbolizes hope and practical progress where mistrust and sabotage once thrived: Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited.

“Spearheaded by the legendary Niger Delta advocate, high chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Ph.D), widely known as Tompolo, Tantita is more than just a security organization. It is, by every honest measure, the clearest proof that homegrown solutions work best for our people. By uniting the Itsekiri,
Urhobo, Isoko, Ndokwa, Izon, and other proud ethnic nationalities, Tantita has
transformed the fight against oil theft and pipeline vandalism into a rallying point for peace, prosperity, and shared progress.

Joint Action for Peace

“Drive through any swampy settlement or riverine village today and you’ll hear a
consistent tale:

“Tantita has changed things for good.”

Where youths once stood idle or fell into bunkering syndicates, thousands now
proudly wear the Tantita insignia as surveillance officers, local guides, or marine guards. These young men and women work side by side with the Nigerian Army, Navy, and Civil Defence Corps, rooting out illegal refineries hidden in the
mangroves.

“This united effort is making a real difference. Community leaders, oil companies, and government regulators all report a significant drop in pipeline sabotage in areas where Tantita operates.

“The symbol of this new collective purpose is perhaps best seen in Ozoro, Delta State, where Tantita funded and constructed a â‚Ĥ200 million Youth House for the Isoko nation. Today, this ultramodern center hums with ICT training, entrepreneurship clinics, and youth empowerment programs.

“This is not just a building—it is a beacon of hope for generations to come,”
Remarked the Delta State Commissioner for Youths at its inauguration—and he was right.

Healing a Wounded Environment

“The Niger Delta has long borne the scars of environmental degradation/ polluted creeks, vanishing fish stocks, and poisoned farmlands. But for the first time in decades, fishermen are returning with full nets, and clear waters are flowing again. As King Monday Whiskey of the Idjerhe Kingdom aptly put it:

“Our fishermen now smile again. The rivers are clean, and the fishes are back.”
This environmental turnaround is no miracle. It is the direct result of Tantita’s
relentless operations: sealing thousands of illegal pipeline taps, dismantling
illicit refining sites, and safeguarding vulnerable corridors that once leaked
toxins into the land and waterways. For many families, clean water now means food, health, and hope.

Building for the Future

Tantita’s greatest contribution isn’t just enhanced security or a cleaner environment—it is dignity and opportunity. Over 25,000 youths are now
gainfully employed through the company—working on boats, monitoring
infrastructure, repairing equipment, or learning skilled trades like welding and
marine engineering.

Long neglected communities are now receiving real support:
•
“In Okere, Warri South, Tantita provided solar power systems, a brand new bus, and dozens of computers to the Delta State College Nursing Sciences, ensuring students have access to electricity, transport, and digital education.

“At Ugborikoko Command in Uvwie LGA, Tantita built and fully furnished a world-class station for the Nigeria Police Force.

“At Effurun Barracks, the company delivered an ultra modern transit accommodation facility for the Nigerian Army.

“A fully built and equipped secretariat was recently donated to the NUJ Warri South Correspondents’ Chapel.

“These interventions, among many others, embody Tantita’s core belief in
“security through welfare.”
As proud environmental ambassadors whose aim is to protect and preserve the environment for the next generations, we say this without hesitation:

“Tantita Security Services is exactly what our region needs local solutions, local jobs and accessibility

“Where politicians have made promises, Tantita has delivered results.
Where oil multinationals looked away, Tantita stepped in. Where division once bred conflict, Tantita fostered unity among our ethnic groups.

“We call on agencies, corporations, and governments alike:
Study this model. Support it. Scale it.

The path to lasting peace and development in the Delta lies in trust, inclusion, and grassroots leadership.

Our Call to Action

“For a secure, cleaner, and more prosperous Niger Delta, let us:
• Support local champions like Tantita.

“Encourage initiatives that empower youths and protect our environment.

• Promote unity among our diverse peoples for a shared dream.

We use this opportunity to call on the Management of TSSNL to give more attention to the environment through remediation.”
