**Confer Nze Onuorah, Engr. Patrick Ifuwe as Patrons

Southern Women Empowerment Forum, SWEF, has inaugurated an educationist, Amb. Dr. Mrs. Rose Elohor Obi, as the Delta State Coordinator of the group.
Amb. Dr. Mrs. Rose Obi, a seasoned professional guidance counselor, was inaugurated as the pioneer Delta State Coordinator of SWEF, a non-governmental organization whose focus is to empower women at the grassroots and train them to become skillful and self-reliant.
The inauguration of Dr. Mrs. Obi took place on Thursday, May 8, in Asaba at an event well attended by the President of the Southern Women Empowerment Forum, Dr. Helen Taiwo Adebakin.
While swearing in Amb. Mrs. Obi, SWEF President Dr. Adebakin described the State Coordinator as a woman with capacity who is tested and trusted and can deliver on the mandate entrusted to her.
She also used the opportunity to induct the local government groups across the 25 LGAs in the State.
Patrons of Delta Broadcasting Service DBS Sports Club, Warri, Nze Francis Onuorah and Engr. Chief Patrick Ossai Ifuwe, were honoured as Patrons of SWEF, as well as receiving special recognition with an Exemplary Leadership Award to Nze Francis Onuorah and a Humanitarian Service Award to Engr. Chief Patrick Ossai Ifuwe, all for their love and support for human capital development.
In their separate reactions, Nze Francis Onuorah, who is also the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Government Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, commended SWEF for the honor and conferment, assuring them of sustainable support in ensuring their success.
Engr. Chief Patrick Ossai Ifuwe, a seasoned oil and gas expert, also pledged to work in synergy with the group to ensure that the empowerment of women is maintained.
