Delta Old Student, Bezi, Commends Waive, Ikpea for Honouring Alma Mater
By Henry Ubus
A renowned Security Expert and Journalist, Mr. Ighoteguolor Bezi, has expressed immense pride in two distinguished alumni of Aladja Grammar School, in Udu LGA Delta State, Rt. Hon. Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, Member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, and Distinguished Senator Joseph Ikpea, currently serving in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.
Speaking on the development, Bezi, an ex-student of the school, the first secondary school established in Udu Local Government Area in 1974, said it is heartwarming to see old students of Aladja Grammar School occupying prominent positions in Nigeria’s legislative arm of government.
He notes that unlike some who have in the past denied ever attending the school, Rep Waive and Sen. Ikpea have continued to identify proudly with their alma mater, a gesture he described as “a mark of humility, integrity, and true leadership.”
“Those who went to the House of Representatives and denied ever stepping their feet on the school will now feel ashamed of themselves, now that we have two bonafide old students in the Red and Green Chambers of the National Assembly,” Bezi stated.
He further prayed for divine upliftment of more men and women from the school to greater heights of leadership and influence across Nigeria and beyond.
“May God lift more men and women from the ashes of the school to the pinnacle of power in Nigeria and beyond, in Jesus’ name. Amen,” he prayed.
Aladja Grammar School, established in 1974 remains a cradle of excellence in Udu, producing intellectuals, administrators, politicians, and professionals who have continued to contribute meaningfully to national development.
