Eid-el-Kabir: Rep Ereyitomi Greets Muslims, Preaches Love, Unity, Sacrifice

The Member representing Warri Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, RT Hon. Chief Thomas Ereyitomi has extended warm greetings to Muslims across the globe, particularly the Muslim Ummah in Warri Federal Constituency, Delta State, and Nigeria, on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

Chief Ereyitomi congratulated Muslims for witnessing yet another Eid-el-Kabir celebration, describing it as a significant spiritual milestone and a testament to faith, sacrifice, and divine submission.

Quoting the Holy Qur’an, Surah As-Saffat 37:107 , “And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice” , the Federal lawmaker reflected on the ultimate sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim (AS), urging the faithful to embody such devotion and selflessness. He noted that the values of Eid-el-Kabir should inspire Nigerians to endure current difficulties with hope and unity.

“Chief Ereyitomi described the period of pain endured by most Nigerians as a necessary surgery, occasioned by the ongoing economic reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration,”. He admitted the reforms are tough but emphasized that they are essential steps for the long-term economic stability and survival of the country.”

Chief Ereyitomi preached the “gospel of hope,” reassuring citizens that “hard times don’t last, but hard people do.” He urged Nigerians to remain resilient and optimistic, stressing that the country would soon emerge stronger and more prosperous.
