Ereyitomi, Waive other National Assembly members present as Oborevwori flags off Otovwodo flyover project

The Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Honourable Chief Dr. Thomas Ereyitomi, his counterpart Rep. Francis Waive, Rep. Ngozi Okolie, and other National Assembly members were all present as Governor Sheriff Oborevwori flagged off the Otovwodo flyover project at Ughelli in Ughelli North LGA, Delta State.
The flag-off, which was held on Monday, January 12, at the Otovwodo project site along the East-West Road, Ughelli-Patani expressway, witnessed a large turnout of top government functionaries in the state.
While speaking before the groundbreaking ceremony, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, said the project is expected to be completed and commissioned by January 2027.
He reassured total commitment to prudent management of resources coming to the state, adding that Delta State is now very peaceful, thanking security agencies for that feat.
Oborevwori listed some completed projects waiting for commissioning, which include the finalized 143 kilometers Ughelli-Asaba dual carriage road, the Trans Warri-Ode-Itsekiri access road with several bridges, and connecting roads in Ughelli town and Ughelli North LGA.
Rep Ereyitomi commended Governor Oborevwori for his people-oriented infrastructure across the state, saying he’s proud of the achievements by Oborevwori’s administration in Delta State. He called on all Deltans to continue supporting the government and the ruling party for more.
