Gov. Oborevwori’s Special Adviser, Dr. Agbolaya loses mother at 80

Mrs. Grace Agbolaya, the mother of Amb Dr. Toyin Agbolaya, the Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State on Community Development, has transitioned at the age of 80.

Dr. Agbolaya’s mother passed on Tuesday, June 2025, in Warri.

The passing of the matriarch was made known by Bishop Best Agbolaya, the Bishop of the African Church, Warri Central Diocese, describing their mother as a devoted Christian, a loving mother, and a grandmother who touched many lives.

Mrs. Grace Agbolaya was born 80 years ago and got married to the late Venerable P.J. Agbolaya of the African Church.

According to Bishop Agbolaya, Mrs. Grace Agbolaya dedicated her life to the service of God and left an indelible mark on those who knew her.

Mrs. Grace Agbolaya is survived by her children, grandchildren, family, and relatives.

Details of her burial arrangements, according to Bishop Agbolaya, the head of the family, will be announced later.
