The loss against Democratic Republic of Congo via penalties puts a sour taste but that is football. “The duo have devoted much of their hard earned resources to reposition the sports as they make supporting national teams all over the world an easy task for us. AFCON should be our focus now. Let us put World Cup behind us and hope to qualify in 2030.We appreciate them”.
“Their honesty and transparent leadership style and sustained commitment to overcoming obstacles for the growth of sports is laudable, and by the time they build a desired structure, Nigerians will be the great beneficiaries and we will cherish it greatly”
