President Federation Cup: Kwara United FC Coach Sanni, Says he’s not under pressure Ahead of FA Cup Final

Kwara United Head Coach, Tunde Sanni, has declared that he is not under pressure as his side prepares to face Abakaliki FC in the President Federation Cup final this Saturday in Lagos.

Speaking during a press conference organized by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) ahead of the final, Coach Sanni expressed confidence in his team’s preparedness and focus.

“I am not under any pressure. My team is battle-ready—mentally and physically. The boys are in great shape and know what is at stake,” Sanni stated.

A former player and captain of Kwara United himself, Sanni emphasized the significance of the occasion both personally and for the state.

“We never won this trophy during my playing days, but now as the coach, I want to do it for Kwara. This is our time.”

On their opponents, Abakaliki FC, Sanni was respectful but confident.

“We are not underrating Abakaliki FC. They are a good side, and that’s why they’re in the final. But we are not afraid of them. We will go in with absolute concentration and commitment.”

Also speaking at the briefing, Kwara United captain, Kabir Mohammed, assured fans that the team is fully prepared.

“There are no injury worries in camp. Everyone is focused, and we are going into the match with 100% attention and determination to bring the trophy home.”

The final is scheduled for Saturday at 4:00 PM at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, where Kwara United will be aiming to lift the prestigious cup for the first time in the state’s history.
