College of Commerce Warri Old Students Association, COCOSA, Set 2005, has donated writing materials, including notebooks, pens, socks, and others, to students of their Alma Mater.

Whilst presenting the items on behalf of the group to the students of the College of Commerce Warri, the Chairman of Set 2005, Jeffery Ariko, in an exclusive chat with COCOSA PRO Celestine Ukah, said they are very glad to come to the school they graduated from to make a presentation to them by giving back to their source, noting that the project will enhance the educational sector, allow the students to have some writing materials to learn properly, as well as advising them on how to manage their studies and to be diligent and obedient to their teachers and principals, making their parents proud. “That’s all we have to say about this project. I also want to thank our National President who sent some delegates to assist us in carrying out this distribution.”

According to Ariko, they noticed that some of the students did not have uniforms, so they also bought uniforms for some of them, disclosing that the exercise took them just one month to organize and that the aim was to surprise the students when they resumed in the assembly.

He added that they arrived on time to identify the students who usually come to the assembly ground and that they selected those who were present and officially gave them the writing materials to encourage them to always attend assembly.

He appreciated the COCOSA National Executive present, including the National Vice President, Chief Mrs. Yemisi Adebisi, COCOSA National Secretary Mrs. Violet Elum, and COCOSA PRO Celestine Ukah, as well as his Set 2005 members who supported the success of the project.

COCOSA National Vice President Chief Mrs. Yemisi Adebisi, who led other Exco members present on behalf of the President, commended Set 2005, saying, “We’re encouraged by their kind gesture,” hailing their foresight in making the donation, even as they have assured of embarking on more needed projects and programs in the College.
