Delta Infrastructure: Oborevwori’s Special Adviser Dr. Agbolaya hails governor for transformation of Warri City stadium

The Special Adviser on Community Development to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, Amb. Dr. Toyin Agbolaya JP has hailed the governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori for the massive infrastructure transformation of Warri city stadium ongoing in the heart of the oil city and commercial nerve centre of the state.

Dr. Agbolaya who was on inspection tour of the Warri city stadium Monday March 23 expressed deep satisfaction on the advancement of the project, noting that the Warri city stadium is going to be one of the best stadia in the country when completed.

The governor’s Special Adviser described the new Warri city stadium as one of eight wonders of the world as it is with State of the art facilities to project and monitor all happenings in the pitch and outside the stadium environment for effective security.

Whilst also appreciating the contractor handling the project for their steadfast commitment in ensuring they meet the target of the state government, Dr. Agbolaya urged Warri South people and Deltans in general to return Oborevwori again in 2027 with their massive votes, positing that Bowen ward has second highest votes in Warri and that all will go back to Oborevwori in order for him to continue the good governance being experienced in Warri and Delta State.

Dr. Agbolaya was taken round the site by the site Engr. Segun Adesoji where he was shown the Media Centre, Commentary room, camera centre VIP area, dressing room for players, Olympic size swimming pool for indoor games among others.

SSA to Governor Oborevwori, Dr. Hope George, SSA Francis Obule, Hon. Gbinije and others at the inspection commended Governor Oborevwori for the visible and laudable project assuring that when completed it will boost tourism and hospitality industry to also boom as well as employment for the host community and the people around.
