The Executive Chairman of Warri North Local Government Council, Hon. Festus Ani Ashima, has continued to demonstrate visionary leadership and an unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the local government. As he marks two years in office, his administration stands out for its remarkable achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and human capital development.

Guided by the MORE Agenda of the Delta State Government, Hon. Ashima has delivered landmark projects that have transformed communities across Warri North. These include the reconstruction of the Chairman’s Lodge, the construction of the Chairman and Staff Executive Complex, the development of the ultra-modern Koko Market, and the construction of six blocks of two-bedroom flats in Oboghoro Community to improve housing and community development.

His administration has also prioritized the welfare of the people through the opening of drainage channels in Koko to address flooding, the construction of doctors’ and nurses’ housing units in Egheoro Community to strengthen healthcare delivery, the payment of Common Entrance Examination fees for pupils, and monthly cash empowerment for over 150 residents. In addition, the provision of foams, fans, and streetlights to the NYSC Corps Lodge in Koko has enhanced the living conditions of corps members serving in the area.

These accomplishments reflect a government that is focused on delivering tangible dividends of democracy and improving the quality of life for the people of Warri North. As the council celebrates this important milestone, the achievements recorded within the past two years provide a solid foundation for even greater progress in the years ahead.

Congratulations to Hon. Festus Ani Ashima on two years of outstanding leadership, impactful governance, and unwavering dedication to the development of Warri North Local Government Area.
