Double Tragedy Hits Warri Comedian Alegbe Baba As He Loses Over N5.4 Million In Demolition, 4 Years After Losing N4 Million In Farm Disaster

**Appeals for Urgent Support, Others

It has been a painful journey of endless losses for popular Warri-based comedian, Alegbe Baba whose real name is Sir Benson Okechukwu Ohajiaka

The comedian who is loved for making others laugh has been thrown into deep tears and agony again following the sudden demolition exercise at Mami Market along the Warri-Sapele Road.

According to him, goods worth over *N5.4 Million Naira* were crushed and destroyed without any prior notice, wiping away his entire life savings in a single moment.

Speaking amidst tears, he said, “My goods were destroyed without any pre-information. Everything I have laboured for is gone. This is my whole life savings.”

This is not the first time tragedy has befallen the hardworking entertainer. About 4 years ago, Alegbe Baba lost about *4 Million Naira* at his Ufuoma Fish Farm in Ekpan after a devastating high tide and theft swept away his entire fish farm venture. He had ventured into farming to survive after entertainment became tough, only for nature and cruel hands to take it all away.

From farming to trading, fate has not been fair to him. But the comedian has remained strong, humble and hardworking.

Now displaced with his family and with nothing left to fall back on, the entertainer who has always put smiles on the faces of many, is passionately calling on activists, comrades, good-spirited individuals and well-wishers to come to his assistance as life has become unbearable for him.

“I am begging with tears. I have tried to be strong. First it was my fish farm, now it is my market. I have lost everything I have ever worked for. My family and I are displaced. Please, I need help,” he cried out.

This is a call to humanity. A man who has made us laugh even in his own pain now needs us to stand by him.

Friends, relatives, activists and well-wishers who wish to console and support him can reach him directly on 08033459853.
