Empowerment: Delta Deputy Governor’s Foundation To Issue Cheques to 853 Undergraduates Nov. 8
The Monday Onyeme Foundation has announced that it will officially award cheques to 853 undergraduate students on Sunday November 8 as part of its ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and educational advancement.
The scholarship award ceremony, scheduled to take place this Sunday at the Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, marks another major milestone in the foundation’s annual education support program.
The beneficiaries, selected from higher institutions across the country, were chosen through a rigorous screening process designed to support deserving students from Delta North Senatorial District in pursuit of their academic goals.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mr Leo Ubuane on behalf of the foundation, reaffirmed its dedication to easing the financial burden on students and their families, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder academic excellence.
”Education remains the most powerful tool for individual empowerment and societal transformation,” the foundation stated.
“By investing in these 853 undergraduates, the Monday Onyeme Foundation is investing in the future leadership, innovation, and development of our communities.”
The event is expected to host community leaders, education stakeholders, parents, and the beneficiary students.
The Monday Onyeme Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing access to quality education, supporting community welfare, and driving sustainable human capital development through scholarships, grants, and social interventions.
