Students in government owned public schools in Delta State, Monday September 11, have suffered huge academic attention from teachers in various schools in Warri and other parts of the state, Areanewsng.com can authoritatively report.

So many of the schools visited were overtaken by over grown weeds especially the schools in Warri and its surrounding cities as well as the entire State.

Principal of one of the secondary schools in Warri allegedly directed students to go home saying academic activities to commence Tuesday.

Areanewsng.com gathered that the abnormal norm of not carrying out learning activities by the teachers and other staffer’s in the state education system is supported by lack of proper supervision by those saddled with the responsibility to so discharge it.

However it is a general wrong notion that when school resumes within the first one week there’s nothing like teaching and learning during that period and such has been compounded by both educated parents and the teachers who are role model in the society.

Students were seen clearing grasses in there schools it is however not clear if the state ministry of Basic and Secondary education doesn’t have budgetary provision for the keeping of schools environment clean from the always notice over grown grasses in plenty of the schools both secondary and primary across the state.
