We Are Determine To Make Delsuth Pride Of Delta And Beyond- Says CMD, Prof Nekwu Okolugbo

The new Chief Medical Director of the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara, Prof. Nekwu Okolugbo has assured Deltans that his administration is determined to make DELSUTH the pride of the state and beyond.

Prof. Nekwu Okolugbo made this statement when he paid a courtesy visit to the Ovie of Oghara, His Royal Majesty Noble Eshimitan Uku Oghara Na’me Orefe III in his palace recently.

Prof Okolugbo while seeking the support and royal blessings of the Monarch added that under his administration, the hospital is going to flourish better than it has been, and that DELSUTH will render better and cheaper health care services , that will make patients happy coming to the hospital.

He also appreciated his Excellency Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for finding him worthy to be appointed to the position and thanked him for the total renovation carried out in the Hospital as well as all the newly procured equipment. He promised to ensure that they will be put to good use to the benefit of all Deltans.

In his response, the monarch congratulated Prof. Okolugbo on his appointment stating that his prayers has been that anyone who becomes the next CMD should be somebody who is not new, adding that somebody who is already in the corridor of administration of the hospital will best understand the challenges facing the hospital and the right string to pull to get solution as the CMD.

The Ovie further added that he has been talking and has asked people to help him talk to the government on behalf of the teaching hospital, because the teaching hospital is dear to his heart.

Th Monarch promised his full cooperation , prayers and supports for the CMD to succeed in his dream of taking the hospital to an enviable height to the admiration of Deltans and beyond.

His Majesty thanked Prof. Okolugbo for coming sooner than his appointment was announced, he described him as a good son.
