**As he explains laws behind Pastor’s Shower Service

The Minister in charge of Shalom Baptist Church, Ekpan of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, NBC off Pipeline Road Delta State, Rev. Dr. Opate Bright has declared that Poverty is not of lack of money or other basic things alone but rather the lack of sense and ability to articulate rightly.
Rev. Dr. Bright made this declaration Sunday September 27, 2026 during his annual Shower/Appreciation Service at the Church, he urged Nigerians, especially Young adults to brace up by having sense of responsibility to keep going in order to reduce present lack of understanding and responsibility in the country.
The Oracle of God, while ministering explained that the greatest gift God has given to humanity after salvation is Pastor, Dr. Bright further maintained that Pastor’s Shower Service have signifies Support, Honour, Open Hands, Warmth, Excitement and Raining the best upon the pastor and His family, adding that a Pastor that doesn’t feed his or her members with knowledge isn’t from God.
Rev. Dr. Bright also revealed that there laws of Shower of Service which according to him include: the Law of Recognition as in recognising the labour and the Pastoral duties of the man of God as your leader too, The law of Respect and Reverence and the Law of Responsiveness. He too his text from 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13, Matthew 10:40-42, 1 Timothy 5:17 and Jerimaih 3:15
While appreciating the Church for the love shown them, Wife of Rev. Dr. Bright, Mrs. Ebitimi Opate Commended all members and friends as well as diaspora worshipers for their care and support in making the shower a huge success.
