Ereyitomi Commends Mrs. Oborevwori for Empowering Less Privileged in Warri South-West LGA

The Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman, House Committee on Petroleum Resources Development Trust Funds, Rt. Hon. Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, has commended the wife of the Delta State Governor, Her Excellency, Mrs. Tobore Oborevwori, for her support and empowerment of persons living with disabilities and other vulnerable groups in Warri South-West LGA.
Speaking on Tuesday, September 1, at Ogbe-Ijoh headquarters of Warri South-West LGA during the outreach, Chief Ereyitomi said the essence of life is to impact people positively with the gifts God has endowed one with, adding that the âYou Matter Charity Foundationâ is living out that mandate with love for the good of humanity.
The federal lawmaker, who is also the APC candidate for the forthcoming 2027 National Assembly election, noted that the storm in Warri Federal Constituency is over and expressed confidence that the party will triumph in the polls.
He further assured Mrs. Oborevwori of the support of the three Warri LGAs for her husband, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, who is also the APC governorship candidate ahead of 2027, promising unanimous delivery at the polls.
Chief Ereyitomi was received with a rousing welcome by supporters at the event, who expressed confidence in his grassroots acceptance by constituents.
The âYou Matter Charity Foundationâ is a non-governmental organization founded by Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, First Lady of Delta State and wife of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
The foundation is focused on changing the narrative for children living with autism, Down syndrome, and other special needs through care, advocacy, and promoting societal inclusion.
It regularly organizes free medical outreaches across federal constituencies and riverine communities in Delta State, providing free healthcare services, medications, and specialist consultations.
The charity also extends support to widows, caregivers, and indigent families through relief materials, food items, and financial assistance for major surgeries.
At the Warri South-West outreach, beneficiaries received wheelchairs, free medical care, free drugs after medical screening and consultation, as well as pampers and baby care items, all distributed free of charge.
