The Federal government of Nigeria delegation are meeting with the organised labour with TUC , George Akume, Wale Edun, Olayemi Cardoso, Mele Kyari, CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele, Dele Alake, James and Adams Oshiomhole are representatives of the side of government.
However the strike is likely to be suspended if talks are successful with the NLC .
The NLC especially isn’t seen having the total support as it used to have before in the proposed strike action that’s expected to begin Wednesday June 7, 2023 as TUC is pushing forward for increase in minimum wage to cushion the subsidy removal effect , while NLC is demanding more for reversal of subsidy removal among other demands .
