**I give you my blessing from my heart – Prince Yonwuren

The Delta Association of Councillorship Candidates, DACC has assured Engr. Samson Uwatse of their solidarity and absolute support as he declares interest to run for the Delta State House of Assemby Warri South 1 Constituency Seat ahead 2027.

The assurance was given by the 2024 set of All Progressives Congress, APC Councillorship Candidates of Warri South on Friday May 10 in Ugbuwangue at the residence of their leader and former LGA Chairmanship Candidate of the Party, Prince Francis Yonwuren.

The Zonal PRO of the group, Hon. Elvis Idjerheki commended Engr. Samson Uwatse for the bold step taken, adding that he has shown them great regard and that they are proud of him.
The Warri South Constituency 1 State Assembly hopeful, Engr. Samson Uwatse in his remarks said as a former APC Councillorship Candidate that represented Big Warri he has come to consult for support of Prince Francis Yonwuren whom he identify as their leader at that level of the grassroot during the Delta State LGA Chairmanship and Councillorship election held last year.

Engr. Uwatse in his declaration said thus: “It is with deep humility and a strong sense of responsibility that I announce to you all—my friends, my co-labourers that I, Engr. Sam Uwatse, will be seeking your mandate to represent our people at the Delta State House of Assembly, Warri South Constituency 1, come 2027.

“I chose to begin this conversation with you not at a public rally, not through a loud announcement but here, in this room, with those who truly understand what it means to be in the trenches. You are not just colleagues. You are stakeholders in this journey.

“This movement is not about me alone. It is about us, our generation within the APC, and the new kind of leadership, we must birth leadership that listens, unites, and delivers dividends of democracy to the grassroot.

“My commitment is clear:

“To be a loud voice for Warri South 1 at the Delta State Assembly.

“To champion policies that touch real lives.

“To open doors for many of us to rise and lead with dignity.

“Let this be the beginning of something purposeful. Let’s join hands, share ideas, strategize and win together.

“We are not here to play politics. We are here to rewrite the story of representation in Warri South 1”.

In his response APC Chieftain and leader of the partv in Warri South and also the immediate past LGA Chairmanship Candidate, Prince Francis Yonwuren prayed for Engr Uwatse saying he is giving his blessing from his heart for him to succeed, assuring him that nobody will drag him back from the race.

Prince Yonwuren doubles as the patron of the group, he described Engr Uwatse as a loyal person who will receive the favour that follows a good leader, he commended him for the show of respect and humility.

Former APC Vice Chairmanship Candidate in Warri South, Hon. Kingsley Omonigho, Hon. Akande Felicia Awani, Coordinator the DACC Warri South, Jacob Pessu, Peter Okoloko and others assured Engr Uwatse of becoming his team members when the time comes.
