Sunshine Stars FC relegated from NPFL
Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure, Ondo State have been relegated from the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
The relegation was as result of their 2-1 defeat in Ijebu-Ode, making it the second team to be relegated from the NPFL this season.
It marks the end of their 18-year run in the top flight.
