Just In: Peter Obi isn’t the founder of the Obidient Movement – Johnson declares

The Deputy National Youth Leader of the Labour Party, LP, Barry Johnson has declared that the popular 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi wasn’t the founder of the Obidient Movement in the country.
Johnson made this declaration Thursday, August 7, 2025, on the AIT Kakaaki morning show, saying they started the movement during the EndSARS protest before Mr. Obi joined the party.
He also claimed that the 2023 Presidential Labour Party candidate, Mr. Peter Obi hijacked the movement when he joined the Labour Party from the PDP.
