Nigeria Junior Swim Team Arrive Egypt For Africa Junior Championship
The Nigeria Junior swim Team has arrived Egypt for the Africa Junior Swimming Championship in Egypt slated for 29th of April – 3rd May 2025
The Team which Consists of 14 Swimmers, 8 boys and 6 girls was led by the President of the Aquatic Federation of Nigeria Chinonye Daphey Aliyu, The Secretary General of the Federation Taiwo Oriss, Parents of the Swimmers, The Head coach Yellow Yeiyah and his assistant Labake Oriretan
The Team which had been in camp for over Two weeks is geared up for victory with Abduljabal leading the boys 50 meters and 100 meters while Kashope and Aidan are the reliable options in the 50 meters and 100 meters backstroke event
white Ayobami, Anjelo , Stanley Ossai from Delta state also in high spirits to make a mark and Oluwatimilehin the ever dependable long distance swimming is in good shape for the game.
The Girls team is also battle ready with Demilade Akanbi, Omolola, Atinuke and Boluwatife, Eva OMODARA and Tofunmi Ibidapo all battle ready to secure victory for Nigeria.
With the caliber of swimmers in this team The Federation has no doubt that this team which is he largest contingent from ever Nigeria for an African Championship is in Egypt to surpass previous achievements of the aquatic federation and surprise Africa.
