Oborevwori’s Special Adviser, Agbolaya takes MORE Agenda to UK, woos investors to Delta
The Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta on Community Development, Amb. Dr.Toyin Agbolaya JP has taken the administration’s policies and programmes to the United Kingdom attracting investors to come invest in Delta State.
Dr. Agbolaya, while in the United Kingdom wooed investors to invest in the state especially on the MORE Agenda mantra of governor Oborevwori which explains in details the administration’s policy on all sectors of the economy of the state, ranging from oil and gas, health care sector, marine and blue economy, commerce and industry etc.
He reassured investors during a strategic business meeting in UK that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is ready to partner any investor especially on what he described as Soft Ukodo, Soft Delta as part of efforts to showcase governor Oborevwor’s achievements to the international community and attract more investments to the state.
Dr. Agbolaya during his engagement with some Deltans in diaspora and others appealed to them to come back home to invest using their expertise knowledge in various fields to add to the growth of the state and Nigeria in general.
Some notable Deltans present at the business meeting include Dr. Mogbeyiteren Eyeoyibo a medical expert and consultant with UK’s National Health Service, NHS, Barr. Mike Dere Awala, a commercial lawyer and Mr. Kenneth Ukoh a pharmacist with the NHS they both expressed willingness to come back home to invest in the state.
They assured Dr. Agbolaya of supporting Oborevwor’s administration even while in the UK, expressed satisfaction with the governor’s indigenous personality focusing on grassroots to uplift the people in the state, commending governor Oborevwor’i for investing heavily on health care especially the ongoing construction of specialist Hospital in Osubi which will boost accessibility to healthcare among other active areas.that they have seen the governor focuses upon.
