Oginni Joins Benin Republic Side A.S.V.O FC On Two-Year Deal
Former Shooting Stars right back, Olatunbosun Oginni, has completed a move to A.S.V.O. FC of Benin Republic.
Oginni, who spent the last two years with Dragon FC of Benin Republic, has signed a two-year contract with the new club.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after penning the deal, the defender expressed delight at joining A.S.V.O. FC, citing the club’s history as a major factor in his decision. He added that he is ready to give his best for the progress of the team.
“I am very happy to join A.S.V.O. FC. I chose the club because of their history and I am ready to put in my efforts for the progress of the club,” he said.
The full-back made over 60 appearances for Dragon FC, scoring 5 goals and providing 26 assists during his stay.
It was gathered that several Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, clubs , including Katsina United and Bendel Insurance were keen on signing him before he opted for the Benin Republic outfit.
