Orphanages, Old People’s Homes receive major food support from Express Iron and Steel Dealers in Delta

Some orphanages and Old People’s Homes in Warri, Uvwie, and its environs have experienced a major boost in food support as the Express Iron and Steel Dealers Association, Otokutu, Delta State, presented several food items to the homes.
While presenting the food items on Wednesday, October 15, to the various orphanages and Old People’s Homes on behalf of the Chairman of the Express Iron and Steel Dealers Association, Chief Jones Esombi, the Committee Chairman of the Annual Planning Thanksgiving Project, Pastor Victor Urhioke, said it is an annual project that the Association embarked upon to reach out to the less privileged in Warri, Udu, and Uvwie as well as the society.
Some of the food items and other consumables presented by the Express Iron and Steel Dealers Association to Heart of Delta Orphanage, Refinery Road, Eagle Hand Orphanage of Word of Life Bible Church, and Old People’s Home Bowen Avenue, Warri, included tubers of yams, bags of rice, garri, beans, provisions, body creams, toothpaste, tomatoes, toiletries, and bunches of plantains.
Pastor Urhioke appreciated God for always being with them, assuring that they will reach as many as possible as God blesses them. He commended the Chairman of the Association, Chief Jones Esombi, and all members of the group, urging others to key in and cater for the needy in society.
The Secretary of the Thanksgiving Project Committee, Enijuni Kolawole Victor, also showered praises on the Chairman of the Association, stressing that the target of the program is all about touching the lives of the needy in society for good and making them feel loved and remembered.
According to him, the food items presented are as needed by the various homes to give them succor, Enijuni also appealed to good-spirited Nigerians, groups, and friends to always remember the needy in society.
Other members of the committee who spoke include Evangelist Robinson Esagba and Mrs. Victoria Brigue, who commended the leadership and members of the Association for their support, stating that it gives them joy to reach the less privileged.
The Matron of Heart of Delta Orphanage Home, Mrs. Rita Ogheneochuko Okoro, and the representative of the Mother of the Eagle Hand Orphanage Home of Word of Life Bible Church, Warri, Arenyeka Esther, commended the Association, saying they are blessed with the support from the Iron Dealers, praying God to bless them.
