Rep. Ereyitomi Felicitates Christians On Easter Celebration, charges Them To Reflect The Lessons Of Easter
The Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Cqhief Dr. Thomas Ereyitomi, has rejoiced with Christians in Warri Federal Constituency, Delta State and in the country at large over the Easter celebration.
The federal government had declared Friday April 3 and Monday April 6 as public holidays for the celebration of Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively.
Chief Ereyitomi, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Petroleum Resources Training Funds a statement by his Media Group, congratulated Christians for the successful completion of the Lenten season, a period of 40 days of fasting and prayer that culminated in the Easter celebration.
He charged Christians to imbibe the teachings of Jesus Christ and the lessons of Easter, which emphasizes unity, tolerance perseverance, and forgiveness.
The Warri Federal lawmaker, however, called on all Nigerians to rededicate themselves in prayers and tolerate one another, adding that with prayers, the nation will overcome its challenges.
According to Rep Ereyitomi, “I wish to congratulate my Christian fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters for the successful completion of the Lenten season and prayer that culminated in the Easter celebration.
“It is most important that we rededicate ourselves in prayers so that the seemingly unsurmountable challenges will be overcome through prayers in no time. Congratulations, happy Easter”
