Super Falcons Begin Preparations For Egypt Clash
The Super Falcons of Nigeria held their first training session this afternoon as preparations continue for Wednesday’s crucial match against Egypt, their final group-stage game of the 2026 WAFCON.
After defeating Zambia 1-0 despite playing with 10 players for a significant part of the match, the Super Falcons will be aiming to secure all three points and score plenty of goals against Egypt to strengthen their chances of advancing to the knockout stage.
The mood in camp remains very positive, with the players united and fully focused on achieving the best possible result.
The squad is working hard together as the 10-time WAFCON champions continue their quest for another successful campaign and a place in the next round of the tournament.
Earlier today, the team had a gym session in the morning as part of their recovery and fitness programme before heading out for their first on-pitch training session ahead of the Egypt encounter.
With qualification still on the line, the Super Falcons know the importance of the match and will be determined to finish the group stage on a high note.
