Warri: Egbokodo Community Olare-Aja, Chief Atiwa Amanoritsewo goes home July 31 to August 6

The Olare-Aja (Oldest Man) of Egbokodo Community in Warri South LGA Delta State Late Chief Atiwa Amanoritsewo will be laid to rest July 31 and the event will follow with a one week final departure ceremony with traditional rites.
The event is expected to attract dignitaries from across Warri, Delta State, Nigeria and diaspora, it will hold at the Egbokodo-Itsekiri Community town in Warri just after Ubeji.
According to the funeral arrangements as announced and signed by Alhaji Bernard Emiko for the family and Blessing Arqyoritsewo for the Children respectively stated that Late Chief Atiwa Amanoritsewo (The Otsoron Of Warri Kingdom) was born March 3rd 1930-24th April 2026, aged 96 years.
The statement further noted that late Chief Atiwa is of the families of Amanoritsewo Agbelogode of the Boji Stock in Egbokodo Community and Ewogharan Ebeni of Omadino Community, both of Warri South LGA, Delta State.

He Is Survived By two Wives 23 Children 100 Grandchildren, 81 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great and Grand children
FUNERAL RITES:
8:00am: Corpse leaves Nigeria Navy Mortuary along Effurun NPA Expressway to Egbokodo Town for lying in state and Interment thereafter Other funeral Activities will continue Day and night till August 6, 2026.
