Rivers APC Governorship Candidate, Chinda Assures of accelerated growth, speedy development, If Elected
The APC Governorship Candidate for the 2027 elections in Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Kingsley Ogundu Chinda, has assured the people of Rivers State of accelerated growth and speedy development if elected into office. He made this known during the APC Presidential Primary held in Ward 5, Elelenwo Obio Akpor Rivers State
Speaking shortly after the exercise, Rt. Hon. Chinda commended the peaceful and orderly conduct of the primary election. He expressed appreciation to party faithfuls for turning out massively to participate in the process, noting that their overwhelming participation reflected unity and confidence in the party’s leadership.
“I want to sincerely thanked members of our great party, the APC. Today, our people have spoken clearly on their choice for the Presidential flag bearer of the party. I deeply appreciate the support and confidence reposed in me as the APC governorship flag bearer for Rivers State,” he stated.
Rt. Hon. Chinda further reassured the people of his commitment to govern with the fear of God, fairness, and love for humanity. He pledged to restore progress, strengthen unity across ethnic lines, and deliver purposeful leadership that would bring rapid development to Rivers State.
At the end of the exercise, president Tinubu emerged victorious in the ward after a successful and peaceful primary election witnessed by party faithfuls and stakeholders
The exercise was closely monitored by officials of the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) , security agencies, and party officials to ensure transparency and credibility throughout the process.
